Welcome to Effra Nursery School and Children’s Centre. We hope you will find all the information you are looking for here on our website.
We are a teacher-led, Lambeth local authority nursery school, and a member of the Lambeth Nursery Schools’ Federation. We provide free education places for 2, 3, and 4 year old children. In addition we offer breakfast, after school and holiday provision. You can also pay for your child’s place or extend their hours. We are open from 8.00am to 6.00pm for 48 weeks of the year. At Effra we are committed to giving every child the opportunity to learn and thrive, making sure they have a fulfilling start to their educational journey. We have a very experienced and stable staff team who will support you and your child throughout their time at Effra - from settling-in to transition to primary school. We will work closely in partnership with you to ensure your child enjoys a happy and stimulating time with us. This year’s toolkit includes a series of guides, posters and other resources not only providing information on topics such as infection control and prevention and winter safety guidance, but also advice on how to support families in poverty this winter.
